dear all,

We're now working on C6672 DSP, for JPEG2000 encoding, we met problems, need experts support.

1) How to config JPEG2000 compress ratio? we follow the document but it seems didn't work.

2)why encoded jp2k file can only be browsed by Photoshop? The ACDSEE can not open it. But JPEG2000 pictures that downloaded from internet can be browsed by ACDSEE.

Could you please send me the configuration you are trying?. I see inside Test Application configuration file (C66x_j2e_01_00_00_00_ELF\packages\ti\sdo\codecs\j2e\Apps\Client\Test\TestVecs\Config) that Quatization can be set using below parameters:

qstyle = Quantization style (no_quant=0, derived=1, explicit=2)
qexp = Quantization step size exponent.
qmant = Quantization step size mantissa, should be in (2^11,0).

Chuangwang, about your second question, our Jpeg2K officially support Jasper (J2K Standard reference -- http://www.itu.int/ITU-T/recommendations/rec.aspx?rec=6124). In the past, we have observed that not all the proprietary 3rd party viewers are fully compliant with the standard.
