Can I have IBIS model of 66AK2H12/06 ?

I have refered TCI6636K2H product page, and I found IBIS.
Is it same as 66AK2H12/06?

  • Rajasekaran-san,

Thanks for your information. I would like to contact local support.
If I got it, I will verify your answer.

  • Rajasekaran-san,

Thank you for your support !!
I got IBIS model from local support.

Although I would like to use peripherals of PCIe, SRIO, SGMII, USB, DDR3, there is no SerDes simulation in IBIS model.

But, I noticed Notes in .ibs file:
    | ___________________________________________________________
    |
    | **For SerDes simulations use Texas Instruments IBIS AMI models**
    | ------------------------------------------------------------

    a) What is IBIS AMI models? How can I use it?

    b) And, only DDR3 simulation model exist in .ibs file. Can I use it?
Because DDR3 is generally SerDes (It is not LVCMOS), I need to confirm if I have to use the IBIS AMI models or not.

I need simulation model until May 7th about a).
Since I have already started simulation of DDR3, I need information as soon as possible about b).

    Best regards, RY

  • RY-san,

The IBIS model that you have should be sufficient for modeling DDR3. DDR3 is not a Serdes interface. To model the serdes interfaces you will need a simulation package that accepts AMI models as part of the IBIS input. These models are not available on TI.com and you must have a signed NDA agreement to receive them. Please contact you local FAE to start the process to get the AMI models if they are needed.

  • Bill-san,

Thank you so much for your quick response!!
Actually, my important customer needs AMI models. They have a NDA agreement with TI.
I will contact my local FAE. Thanks!.
