EDMA3 Complex Throughput overhead for TMS320C6678

In SPRABK5A1  Section 5  EDMA3 Complex Throughput, the transfer time of a 32KB payload is determined by measuring the total transfer time minus the transfer time of a 0 byte packet (overhead). Do you know what the overhead (t3) was? We would like to know what the transfer times would be for smaller packets.

  • David Enns,

Welcome to the TI E2E forum. I hope you will find many good answers here. In addition you can find some details through the TI.com documents and the TI Wiki Pages. Be sure to search those for helpful information and to browse for the questions others may have asked on similar topics.

Please go through the section "Overhead Considerations" at Throughput Performance Guide for C66x KeyStone Devices.
