SRIO suppress good interrupt clarification

Hello everyone,

Target is C6678.

From the SRIO UG for the LSU_REG4 SUP_GINT bit it says :

"Suppress good interrupt.

If “interrupt request” is set, and this bit is
- ‘0’ Interrupt will be generated on good completion as well
-‘1’ interrupt will be suppressed on a good completion"

My question is :

when interrupt request is not set, sup_gint should be set to 0 or 1 ?

I want to make sure to receive the 'bad lsu0 interrupts' in all cases.

Hi Clement,

The following bit needs to be set/clear for enabling/disabling transfer completion interrupts, while setting up the LSU registers:

LSU_REG4.Interrupt Req = '1' //enabling transfer completion interrupts

LSU_REG4.Interrupt Req = '0' //disabling transfer completion interrupts

If you disabling transfer completion interrupts means suppress good interrupt(sup_gint) is not valid.

What happens when I do :

LSU_REG4.Interrupt Req = '0'
and LSU_REG4.SUP_GINT = '1' ?

is it catched and returned as an invalid LSU programmation error?
is it ignored ?

Additionnal question on the same topic:

To get LSU bad interrupts (not the good ones), is it best to use

int.request = 0 and sup_gint = 0

int.request = 1 and sup_gint = 1; ?
