Hello!

I have one question about uPP driver from the issue: http://e2e.ti.com/support/dsp/c6000_multi-core_dsps/f/639/t/202118.aspx. There is some driver 2350.upp_dlb_test.zip. I do not understand about upp_key_config function. What is the reason of disabling L1D cache? Performance of my application reduces without L1D cache.

Jim Tiffany already asked this question, but I did not see the answer.

If you want to understand the L1D memory architecture, the CopePac User's Guide Chapter 3 will help you a lot.

Hi, Pubesh!

I have read the CopePac User's Guide Chapter 3 and saw the post http://e2e.ti.com/support/dsp/c6000_multi-core_dsps/f/639/p/256688/1009445.aspx#1009445, but I still do not understand about disabling L1D cache for Upp. My experiments show that with disabled L1D cache Upp receiving works properly, but it does not work properly with enabled L1D cache.

Anybody can explain me?

I likely solved this problem. There is a cache L1D coherence issue. I must invalidate cache before DMA transfer.
