third party development library for c66x

Hello,tscheck,thank you for your attention. I hope the lib includes the following routines: part 1: 1 pow routines 2 trigonometric routines 3 vector mathematics routines 4 matrix mathematics routines 5 standard operations 6 sort operations 7 firter routines 8 transform routines 9 threshold operations 10 statics opetations part 2: 11 jpeg2000 image processing(maximum compression ratio:128 and shoud be optional). by the way,if part 1 and part 2 are not included in one library, please tell me srparate libraries or one of them.Thank a lot. eric

Ok, that is quite the variation in functionality :) Needless to say those capabilities will be spread across multiple libraries and I will probably need others to chime in here:

At the most basic level, you need to install the MCSDK, which will contain some of these libraries:

Not sure about 1) pow routines...

2) trig functions are in MATHLIB, which I believe is part of the MCSDK, if not:

3) Vector math 4) matrix 7) filter - are in the DSPLIB, which is part of the MCSDK or:

5) Standard and 6) Sort - need more detail

8) transform, 9) threshold, 10) statistic - I'll ask others to respond on..

11) JPEG2000 Codec is supported in our MCSDK-Video release:

8) Transforms 9)Thresholds

Transforms are part of DSPlib (FFT), IMGlib(DCT, Wavelet).

Thanks Asheesh and Travis for your reply. Is is said that TI and one university have developed a cooperation paogram called lib slame based on c66x dsp architecture , but I did not find the literature about it, could you please show me the address of web page of it. Regards, Eric
