PCIe Control: DSP vs ARM

Hello,

in the project we're working on we are utilizing ARM and DSP cores as
well. As far as I understood Linux has total control over peripherals
including PCI Express, which we'd like to control exclusively by a DSP
core. Do you think it's possible to disable Linux's demand over PCIe and
use only a DSP core as root complex instead?
Couldn't find any documentation on this, any help would be much appreciated!

Hi Janos,

'From my understanding, it is possible to achieve.

The resource manager module will help to achieve this. Please refer below link.

The system resources used by Linux are defined in the kernel DTB file, which originates from a, ePAPR 1.1-based, DTS file. You shall modify the dts file for your purpose to achieve.

Also my understanding that, we have not provided PCIe EP driver which will run on DSP core. You will have to develop your own.
