H264 Encoding for 4K Question

Hi

I remember that 1 C6678 DSP can handle 1 1080p30 H.264 HP encoding, Is that mean 4 C6678 DSP can handle 1 2160p30 H264HP encoding?

In other word, how many C6678 DSP is needed to encode H264HP 2160p30 video?

    Hi YC, yes we would need 4 DSPs for handling 4K H.264 HP encoder. However, please notice our H.264 HP encoder is multicore but not multichip. Sustancial changes would be required.
