Hi,

I am using board TMDSEVM6678l.I have some doubts regarding running codes on multicores.

1. The project client_evmc6678l is meant to run on a multicore?

2. Is it necessary to use IPC for multicore support?

3. What is the modification needed in .cfg to make it multicore?

4. To run a multicore should I make 1 core master and all others slaves?

5. Is it necessary to load the program to all the cores?

Ans4: Yes

Ans5: No, Based on your test you can load the cores.

Hi,

Ans1: No, It is only running on core 0. If you want to run to other core you need to modify the test code(client.c, NIMU driver).

Ans3: For my understanding, No need modify the .cfg file for multicore application.

Hi,

You can add the IPC related package modules like messageQ, gateMP, ListMP, etc. through .cfg file. Other IPC related API need to call through your test application code. For more detail refer IPC user guide.
