Keystone2 NIMU in release is missing

I am using pdk_keystone2_3_00_04_18 and i would like to link with NIMU in release however in pdk_keystone2_3_00_04_18\packages\ti\transport\ndk\nimu\evmk2h\lib there is only a debug folder, and when I opened the project there is only debug configuration.

Where can I find the lib compiled for release.

You can find the NIMU lib at this path:

C:\ti\pdk_keystone2_3_xx_xx_xx\packages\ti\transport\ndk\nimu\evmk2h\lib\debug\evmk2h\ti.transport.ndk.nimu.ae66

Please use the latest MCSDK release for Keystone II devices. TI recommands you to use latest release of mcsdk always. To find the latest mcsdk at:

But these are debug libraries. I am looking for release compilation.

I checked the latest MCSDK release and there is also only debug libs in there, no release compilation.

Shian,

You can import the NIMU project using CCS, there you set this project as release mode through "build properties".

Then build this project get the release mode of lib.

Did you get the release mode lib? Is there any any issue while build the NIMU driver project in the release mode?

I wasn't able to create a release configuration out of the debug one

When i change the output file (so it will point to release.

I get

gmake: *** No rule to make target

' output file full path', needed by 'all'.

I don't have such a problem with example projects that come with only debug (the difference being this is a lib and they are executables).

In the meantime i just changed the debug configuration to have no debug info and optimization level 3 and just placed the output lib in a release folder. That compiles just fine.

Shiran,

Follow the steps to create Release mode,

Go to Build Configuration---->Manage---->Click "New" and Write Release then click Ok button.

Once again go to Build Configuration--->Set Active----> Select "Release".

In addition that, change the lib path for Release.

"${PROJECT_ROOT}/lib/debug/evmk2h/ti.transport.ndk.nimu.ae66"

"${PROJECT_ROOT}/lib/release/evmk2h/ti.transport.ndk.nimu.ae66"

I hope, this will work. Please try to use latest mcsdk package(mcsdk_bios_3_01_01_04).

Did you check to make the release mode build for NIMU? Is it working on your end? You can comeback if have any issue with the build.

HiNo it didn't fix the problem. I did exactly as instructed.I get the error

Please try to remove the debug or release folder from your project and try to build for debug or release mode.
