My set up is a K2E EVM with RTM BoC directly connected to a Linux PC with a 10GbE adapter through a SFP+ cable. Then enabled 10GbE on EVM with the instructions in http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/MCSDK_UG_Chapter_Exploring#10Gig_Ethernet_Driver . Iperf is used on both EVM and Linux PC to measure the performance. Jumbo packet is enabled through ethernet configuratioin by changing the MTU size to above 8000 bytes which customers may want to tune it to the right size. The key is not to have fragmented packets.

. I don't have the info of exact 10GbE network card I have in the PC. I believe it is one of the Intel 10GbE PCIe card, but any commercial one will do. Also, any commercial PC running Linux will work for your Linux machine setup The Keystone-II EVM (K2E) needs a RTM break-out-card from Mistral, http://www.mistralsolutions.com/product-engineering-services/web-store/add-on-module/rtm-break-card-keystone-ii-evm/.

I found out the PC adapter card info. It is Intel 82599EB 10-Gigabit SFI/SFP+ Network Card.
