Hello again.

Still working with simple project hua evm from here

And i'm still having troubles. Project requires to load the evmc6670l.gel file to work, with performing the global_default_setup to initialize the memory. I need to initialize the memory, without using the .gel file and while not changing the jumpers configuration.

I'm using the pdk_C6670_1_1_2_6, bios_6_33_06_50, ndk_2_21_02_43 and xdctools_3_23_04_60. Also i'm using c6000 compiler and Texas Instruments XDS100v1 USB Emulator with TMS320C6670 device for initial load.

Evaluation board is TMS320c6670l

Hi Taras,
Could you please explain a bit on your requirement.
What are you trying to do ?
Why do you want to do like need to run *.out without gel file ?

Before loading any *.out, you have to configure the memory, gel file would do that for you.
Still, if you want to do that, then you may need bootloader code which resides on internal RAM and would initialize the DDR to run your main app.

Hello Titus.

Future target is loading the project, without using the usb interface. I don't know, how to load the .gel using only ethernet, so i'm trying to initialize memory without it. You are talking about the bootloader code - what is this and how could this help me?

Ok, thank you, that helped a lot. But i still have questions. How can i output any data through ethernet, without using the CCS console. I've read somewhere, that some of program packages have a specific printf (or sort of) or platform_write instruction, with specific output parameters. Where can i find the function description and how could i use it?

Hi Taras,
Could you refer to the following source files.
C:\ti\mcsdk_2_01_02_06\examples\ndk\helloWorld\evmc6670l
In NDK helloworld example, you can see "platform_write" function to get the UART prints on UART console instead CCS console.
Also, you can use "helloworld" and "client", "packet accelerator" example code for ethernet demo.

In the following location, you can see all the source code related to platform UART,NAND,I2C etc.,
C:\ti\pdk_C6670_1_1_2_6\packages\ti\platform\evmc6670l\platform_lib\src
