thank you Raja:
I working on Custom board refer to EVM.
I use K2_Linux_03.10.72_15.08 linux kernel donwloaded from ti.com.
usb device is USB Mass Storage Device (usb 2.0).
it looks live regster PORTSC1 can't be wrote, when debuging kernel in CCS.
Okay, thanks.
Have you tried to check the USB detection in u-boot shell ?
Format your USB pendrive in FAT format and connect to board.
Then do the following commands.
u-boot# usb start
u-boot# fatls usb 0
Also please make sure that your HW connection is good.
USB detection issue is captured in EVM release notes, (though its applicable for EVM) you can try any problem is present on your custom board
thanks very much!
My EVM haved been fixed, and my kernel works well in EVM. OS the problem in my board.
And is they app in linux can communicate between ARM and DSP ?
dear Raja:
I just found my kernel's usb driver run's well in EVM,but not in my board. That some thing error in my board hardwave. We havedn't found out the problem yet.
YES,but I didn't found any wrong。
I an check the 6638k2k power supplie of 5.0V, 3.3V 0.85V. that is good, even when USB device inser/pull out.
Have you referred the EVM release notes and known issues section for the USB failures ?
I remember that some of the EVM boards also got affected with USB failures and some workaround was captured in known issues.
wfcache.advantech.com/.../EVMK2HX_Rev4_0_Known_Issues.pdf
So, check your board too though its not for custom board, just have look into it.
Let me check HW team for that.
Thank you. We will check this.
And We found that: USB PHY control Register can't be wrote in out board, just can be read.
OK, we found : in u-boot ,kick0 and kick1 regster is lock, so usb phy regster can't be wrote. so usb phy can't be init. That why USB device can't be detected!
