CZH v.s. GZH package on C6657

Hi all,

I checked C665x datasheet (SPRS814C) that did not indicate which pins on CZH or GZH package are reserved or for another functions.

Please let me know which user guide I can collate.

E.g. SRIOSGMIICLKP (AD13) and SRIOSGMIICLKN (AE14) in pin map quadrants show reserved.

Do you mean that there is a misalignment between Table 4-2. Terminal Functions — Signals and Control by Function & Figure 4-3 through Figure 4-6?

I've forwarded this to the HW experts for clarification, as the information is unclear indeed.. Also you can use the Submit Documentation Feedback link at the bottom of the Data Sheet pages, to notify the doc team for possible discrepancy in CC6657 Datasheet.

I could not see the difference in datasheet between CZH or GZH package either. Does TI have a table to explain this difference?

Yes, I have checked the C6657 schematics and found that pins were used for SGMII.
Will ask HW experts to check this thing again.

Hi OC,

Based on the internal documentation that I have for the part, I believe that the ball map in the data manual is incorrect. The pins you highlighted are used for the SRIOSGMIICLKP/N as specified later in the document. I'll fill a bug report against the document and it will be updated in the next revision.

There is no difference between the pinout of the CZH and GZH package.
