Project suddenly very slow to compile?!

Hi,

My project is suddenly very slow to compile. I've not made any significant changes, and were it was taking seconds it suddenly is taking minutes. Even if I make almost no change, building the next time - again very slow. Are there some common causes for this?

What project are you compiling ?
Have you tried to build anyother project ?
Have you tried to reboot your PC and restart the CCS IDE ?

It is my own project, if I try to compile any of my own other projects - they are fine. I have rebooted and restarted CCS (

: 5.5.0.00077)

Are there some common causes of these symptoms?

I think it is due to some very (a)cute optimization, as it's a specific section of code that seems to slow it down so much. Removing that takes it back to almost normal...
