Hi, I was wondering can i use TMS320tci6614 or TMS320tci6618 as a common modem phy?

Hi,

You need to have a phy IC interfaced with the TCI66x device, see the Reference designs (i.e. www.ti.com/.../tmdxevm6614lxe).

I've also notified the TCI66x team to elaborate.
