66AK2G02: Ferrite bead necessary?

Part Number: 66AK2G02

My customer is not using PCIE and USB on their hardware. This will mean they also don't need the +0.85V LDO. Am I right?

K2G data sheet, says "This pin must always be connected through a 1-μF capacitor to VSS." for LDO_PCIE_CAP (Ball J8, L8)and LDO_USB_CAP(Ball H19, J18)

But on Sheet 12 of EVMK2G schematic, "MOUNT THE FERRITE BEAD, ONLY WHEN ON BOARD LDOs ARE DISABLED". The LDO by default is disabled. If we don't need the +0.85V LDO why do we need to connect the ferrite bead?

Just making sure we can leave out the LDO and ferrite bead.

Thanks,

Brian
