Hi,

Based on the block diagrams provided in SPRS866E, I could understand that presence of 10GbE is the only Differences between 66AK2H14 and 66AK2H12.

I am planning to use 66AK2H14, but I am currently not using 10GbE. So Can I expect any better performance( ie., low power dissipation, less clock requirement etc.) with 66AK2H12 by keeping all other functionalities same as 66AK2H14 ?

Hi Madhu,

You should not expect any differences in the performance between 66AK2H12 and 66AK2H14 in case of 10Gb Ethernet switch is not used.

Hi,

In the TI stores there is a cost difference of about $250 between 66AK2H14 and 66AK2H12 devices.
May I know if there is any other technical difference in the architecture of these two, causing this huge cost difference?
