Hello. I have downloaded RFSDK and i'd like to understand what steps should be made to enable support for another ADC (for example ADC32J44). Could you help with it?

Yes. I have the ADC connected to the K2L via JESD204B and i want to use DFE to DDC and filter it and store to memory. What steps should i do to make it work with RFSDK?

By the way, is it possible to get any information about NCO characteristics built-in DFE (type, freq. step, SNR and so on)?

Hello,
In order to run the DFE-66AK2L06/TCI6630K2L, with a JESD-ADC, the ADC output serdes must conform to either Adjacent Market design 1
ADC12J4000, or design 4 ADC32RF80. e2e.ti.com/.../594961

Typically the ADC clock needs to be generated outside the 66AK2L06 EVM.

Related to the questions about filtering, NCO, you can study both the DFE User Guide
Digital Front End (DFE) for Keystone II Devices User's Guide (Rev. A) - spruhx8a.pdf
and the RFSDK User Guide.

In the RFSDK there are JESD loopback versions of the radio case, these can be run without the ADC and DAC hardware.
You can then generate scripts to modify the dynamic parameters for the NCOs, filters, signal selection, and gain.
You can also use the RFSDK network GUI

Could you show small snippet in C how to set NCO freq. with Low Level driver?

Could you show example how to use Dfe_progDducMixerNCO function? It takes (freq) float array [15] values and converts it inside in int64 but what should i pass to it when i call it?

Hi Eugene,

Programming DFE is not supported outside of TI-provided configurations - i.e. those in the various RFSDK releases.

What am i supposed to do if i want some custom configuration (not for LTE, custom PFIR coeff and so on)? Who can make a custom tgtcfg file for a specific application?

DFE programming is extremely complex and we have internal tools that build the configurations, and the tools are only used by DFE experts. If you need a configuration that is not supported, your company will need to make arrangements with TI to have the configuration built. Many times, a change in DFE requires other changes as well, such as in IQN2 or the serdes, so it's often a system solution, not just DFE.

Sorry for the delay in getting back on this. You will have to restrict your application to use one of the RFSDK-provided configurations. I realize this is not a great answer, but DFE is too complex to be programmed without proper tools and expert knowledge.
