Dear sir,

How to test writing different block sizes of Data into RAM and Read from it using EMIF16 as the interafce?

and

Testing procedure of EMIF16, when interrupts occurs it has to read data from CPLD and it has to compare the data with self generated data. If both are same then it has to blink an led.

I request you to suggest me the solution for both as soon as possible.

Hi,

For our K2H device, we have K2H EVM where a NAND is connected to the EMIF16 interface. There is NAND flash writer example in Processor SDK RTOS you can read/write from the NAND via the EMIF16. You can refer to the code at pdk_k2hk_4_0_x\packages\ti\boot\writer\nand

Hi,

How to perform EMIF16 read and write because we have to perform the following operations:

*When interrupts occurs it has to read data from CPLD and it has to compare the data with self generated data. If both are same then it has to blink an led.

*If both are same we have to write the another existing pattern to CPLD.

I request you to suggest me the solution me as soon as possible.

Hi,

What you described is your application requirement or your system level. The EMIF16 interface you can connected to CPLD, in our case it is connected to NAND, you can refer to NAND writer how to do read and write over EMIF16 interface.

What interrupt generated is in your system, I believe in your ISR, you can do a read into CPLD and compare the results with original. And blinking a LED is so in your system level. Those you need design at your end, the writer provides you how to read/write over EMIF16 only.
