RTOS/66AK2H14: which target option i have to select for the processor 66AK2H14

Hi,

I am using CCV7 tool and TI-RTOS for the processor 66AK2H14.

While creating a New project in target field which option i have to select according to the details, given above?

Please suggest me the correct method as soon as possible.

Hi,

There is another drop down menu next to the one you've selected, from there you should change to 66AK2Hx device and then from the tabs select to either use the ARM or the C66xx Core of the SoC.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

In next drop down menu 66AK2H06 and 66AK2H12 are there, but we are using 66AK2H14 processor, so 66AK2H14 option is not there. So please suggest me how to move further.

For some reason a specific device file for a 66AK2H14 hasn't been made available in CCS.

When creating a project therefore select the closest device which is a 66AK2H12.

The 66AK2H12 and 66AK2H14 have the same number of processor cores, and only differ in support for 10GB Ethernet.

I have two more doubts.

While creating a new project, which option i have to select from C/C++ project and CODE COMPOSER STUDIO?
Then while writing source code, in TARGET option, which processor we have to select under A15 and C66X since we are using both the processors.?

The 66AK2H12 option should work.

Use CCS project.

If you're planning to have applications running on both processors, then you should create two separate applications or use the IPC to communicate between the two cores.
