Hi,

I have been using Code Compose studio to generate the application images for the cores individually and then use TI's maptool.py to generate the combined image for all the processors. In this process, the images generated by the maptool.py fails to bring-up the processor on the first tryand requires to be run again. The images generated by the tool works fine on the second or third run of the python script. Could someone please clarify if this is known bug..?

What do you mean by re-run? Is it running the script again to generate images? Did you try example provided in the SDK?

Thanks Raja. By re-run, I meant running the maptool.py script.

I haven't tried the example yet (am a newbie to TI's MultiCore Processor tool chain) . Thanks for sharing the link, I shall go through it.

OK. That's weird, there is no such know issues with MAD tools. Please use the latest Processor SDK and find the download link below my signature.

Hello Raja,
Due to specific design decisions, the version I can use is currently locked out. But was there any such known issue with previous versions of MAD image generation tools.?

[Update]: This is a persistent problem (fix: re-run the maptool.py script on the already generated .out images of each processors. This should generate a new image that boots with out any problem. FWIW, the work around takes less than 2 minutes rather than rebuilding all the projects). Hope this help.
