DM335/DM355 image processing query

Processor Application:

Two cameras connected to DM355/DM335.  The image will have maximum supported resolution of DM355/DM335. DM355/335 captures an image of still or moving object. The raw image will be analyzed and processed by DM335/355. DM335/355 finds out total number of objects and (up to 2D) barcode(s) from an image. Once barcodes and number of objects are detected, the processor generates various triggers (toggling of GPIO). All the barcodes must be stored in non-volatile memory. Once the number of objects and barcode(s) are captured, the image will be discarded. No compression is required. Processor will also have load of serial ports, LCD display, audio output, USB and I2C.

Query: Please let me know whether the above mentioned application is possible on DM355\DM335

    Hi, Mitali Mistry.

    I wonder which kind of barcode SDK were you using? As for myself, I have only tried to read barcode with the help of some 3rd party barcode reading toolkits. I am looking for a good one whose way of processing is simple and fast to help me with barcode scanning process concerned. It will be better if it offers free trial packages for users to check. Any suggetsion iwll be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
