DM368 3.3V toggle on and off frequently

I have the DM368 in a custom designed board. Due to a design oversight, the 3.3V that goes to the DM368 is also powering the LEDs on board. In normal operation, the LEDs can be controlled through the GPIO of the DM368.  But in some cases, the LEDs need to function even when the board is turned off.

In order to achieve this, I turned on just the 1.35v and the 3.3v (without turning on the 1.8v). The 3.3v enables me to control the LEDs. The 1.35v is turned on because otherwise it would cause the LEDs to stutter (the connection to the GPIO?). So far it seems to work.

Just for clarification, would it be a problem if I turn on the 3.3v like this? I know that it is also powering the GPIO of the DM368, but since it's not actually booting up, I figured it will be alright. Would it be a problem if I toggle the 3.3v on and off in regular intervals?
