DM3725/TPS65930 OTG attached device not detected

We are experiencing the same/similar behaviour as discussed in:

https://e2e.ti.com/support/dsp/omap_applications_processors/f/447/t/191009

but this forum has been archived (can't post to it) and there was no follow up.

On occasion on boot the OTG hub is detected but the attached Apple Ethernet adaptor is not.

A warm reset does not find the adaptor, disconnect and reconnect of the adaptor has no affect. Only a power cycle resolves the detection, but this is not a solution.

Is there a way to reset the OTG port to ensure the detection of attached USB devices other than power cycling the unit ?

Is there a way to reset the OTG port to get it to detect attached USB devices other than power cycling the unit ?
