DM385: Loading DM385 IPNC VIDEO-M3 firmware file causes kernel crash: BUG: Your driver calls ioremap() on system memory.

Hi, I am new to this platform and may not have configured memory appropriately. I am trying to load the video firmware to the M3 on our DM385-IPNC-based platform, and I get this crash, which seems to be linked to linux memory configuration. Could you instruct me where I am making the mistake?
