DM388: 4Kx2K encoding Support

Hi,

In section 2.6 of the DM388 datasheet it is confirmed that the hardware encoder supports 4K x 2K @ 15fps.

Do any of TI's other video processors support hardware encoding at resolutions of greater than 1080p? This is not given as an option in the parameter search.

Yes,DM388 and IPNCRDK v3.8 supports your desired resolution.

However this doesn't answer my question. I was looking to confirm whether there are any alternatives to DM388?

So that we can suggest depending upon that.

Please tell us which software release are you willing to use , since different TI platform supports different RDK.
