DM388: Dynamic range sensitivity and camera sensor parts support

Hi Champs,

In a view of a IP camera project I have the following questions :

Q1 : We are looking for a global dynamic range sensitivity close to 120dB. Do you have numbers in term of dynamic range sensitivity on a DM TMDSCSK board + camera sensor? Could we reach such target with DM HW ISP HDR module ? (for DM388 and DM81XX)

Q2 : Are those sensors compatible with DM388 and DM81XX

-       Gamme Starvist de Sony : IMX123 ou IMX290 ?

-       OnSemi : AR0331 (it sounds like it is supported)?

-       OmniVision : OV2732, OV4689 ?

    Hi,

    Q1: 

    We don't have any specific numbers to share at this point. However, I would recommend checking the datasheet for the same.  AR0331 data sheet (available online by On Semi) explains the requires register settings and configurations for HDR. 

    FYI, on CSK software releases camera is configured in Linear mode and not in HDR mode.

    Q2:
         OnSemi: AR0331 - Yes, supported by default on CSK. 
     OmniVision: OV2732, OmniVision: OV4689, Sony IMX123, IMX290 - Not supported by default. Can be integrated.
