    Hi HAREL,

Are you using Linux PSP from TI ? The software might be checking Control Device Status Register 15:0 (Address 0x4800 244C) and setting ARM clock freq to 1 GHz if the device is 1GHz capable device. Can you check the difference on the register value between two devices and also see if your software checks it.

    Regards,
    Kazunobu Shin

I read register 0x4800 244c and the value there is the same for the both devices 0x0c00.

According to the Technical Reference Manual these devices are not 1Ghz capable.

I read also register CONTROL.CONTROL_IDCODE[31:0] 0x4830 A204 and the values was different

    XDM3730ACUS  - 0x1B89 102F

    DM3730CUS100 -  0x2B89 102F

Please advice way the register value is not 0x0e00.

    Thanks,

    Yoni

Please review  usage note in regard to "Speed Binned" bit in the errata (http://www.ti.com/lit/er/sprz319d/sprz319d.pdf).

Usage Note 2.22 — "Speed Binned" Bit in Control Device Status Register Not Programmed in Devices Built and Tested Prior to June 2011

From the device marking, DM3730CUS100 should be capable of ARM 1G Hz.
