Hi all,

I am looking for JTAG debugger for DM3730 which supports Linux aware debugging ( to debug Linux kernel).

Please suggest me that which one is good for kenrel debugging and DSP-BIOS debugging (XDS100,XDS510,XDS560,lauterbach).and have better support.

Please take a look at the following article for Linux Kernel Debug capability in CCSv5.

The JTAG debug hardware you listed support the DM3730, but I would suggest either the XDS510 or XDS560 variety simply because of the speed, etc.

For DSP-BIOS or SYSBIOS, any of the items you mention above are sufficient.

Hi,
I'm using trace32 with dm3730 and I feel nice (to attach exaclty after reset I needed to put EMU0 strong pull down).
I'd like also to use XDS100v2 with CCSv5, but Linux host version is going to be improved, and now it hasn't ETB support.
Any news on this side.
I'd like also to add ETM,ITM to my setup.
Are XDS510,XDS560 able to get those offchip tracing data?
Can I use Ti dm3730 aware jtag controller in order to measure video codec and sgx performances?
