Hi, i'm trying with the DM3730 evm from Mistral. I want to know if it is possible to access GPIOs from user space, and what are the different ways to do this? I was trying to access it using the u-boot functions that are in the "dg_gpio.c" but when i try to read/write to the configuration register (GPIO_OE, CONTROL_PADCONF_X ...) i get a segmentation fault error? Thanks in advance for the answers.
Yes, it is possible. I know this question is from months ago, but I recently was searching for a solution for the DM81xx EVM, and came up with one. You can check out my blog posts here for an outline of the solution.
