18bpp dm3730 lvds chip

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN75LVDS83C, DM3730, DS90C185, SN65LVDS302

I have a dilema interfacing the 18-bpp to a serialiser with the DM3730. I need a 1V8 level on the DM3730 and 3v3 LVDS on the LCD side + DE,nc, nc.(ie a 21bit input to 3 chanel + clk chip to drive an LCD panel) The only chip I could find from TI is the SN75LVDS83C. It has dual supplies and states diferent connection modes for 12,18 & 24 bpp.

My question is in relation to the grounded pins. it uses 3 of the 4 LVDS outputs and grounds these. D5,D27,D10,D11,D16,D17 &D23  SHOULDNT WE GROUND THE UPPER 7 BITS which pertain to the 4rth LVDS Transmitter? ie D27:D21

As I see it D0-D5(R),D6,D7(Gnd) ....etc for the other 2 colors

There are other chips from TI with only 21 or select inputs like the DS90C185 but the output spec is not matching the displays VCM of 1.2V

can anyone shed some light on this or even suggest a chip!

Thanks.
