Linux/DM3730: ./hello: line 1: syntax error: "(" unexpected error occurs?

Hi,

I am using DM3730EVM Board in that no gcc Cross compiler. In Ubuntu-14-04 LTS system one hello world code written and generated ".OUT" file,

Then the .OUT file is dumped into SDCard and i run the "./a.out" or "./hello" but it's showing "./hello: line 1: syntax error: "(" unexpected" error What we can do for executing the code

Hi Ramachandra,

You should use a cross compiler but I suggest you for detailed information to refer to TMS320DM3730 Software Developers Guide at if you are using an official TI DVSDK DM3730 release:
software-dl.ti.com/.../TMS320DM3730_Software_Developers_Guide.pdf
about how to write "Hello world" application.

hi,

In my DM3730 Board GCC Cross Compiler is not there, While Executing time error showing(GCC:Not Found!),

In system Only I am generated ".OUT" file and Dumped into SDCard then it is showing above error "./hello: line 1: syntax error: "(" unexpected" Showing.

How to execute ".OUT" or how to install GCC cross compiler in Board.

You must install GCC Cross Compiler and export the path. If you have already installed DVSDK you should follow the instructions from linked above Software Development Guide about "Hello world".
