Hi,
Does the dei link of rdk 4.1 support dynamic switch de-interlace bypass mode?
Does the capture link of rdk 4.1 support dynamic change input resolution?
Thanks,
Jacson

- No . Dei bypass is a driver create param and cannot be modified at runtime. You will have to create 2 DEI instances with DEI enabled and DEI disabled to support runtime DEI bypass. Refer /dvr_rdk/mcfw/src_linux/mcfw_api/usecases/ti816x/multich_hd_sdi_dvr.c

- Yes.It is possible to dynamically switch to any resolution less than creat time resolution.
hi all,
Does the capture link of rdk 4.1 support changing the scanformt dynamically like input resoluition?
There are some changes required to support runtime capture scan type change. I have shared changes with you privately as changes are distributed and cant be shared as a patch
Hi Badir,
Thank you for your sharing.
After use your changes, the capture can change scanformat at runtime.
I have another questions:
as you already said " rdk 4.1 does not support dynamic switch de-interlace bypass mode",
- Will this function be supported in the future?
- Can DEI support runtime bypass mode change by making some change to the code

DEI driver cannot support runtime switching from bypass to non-bypass mode. This is driver limitation and no solution is possible. It is possible to create 2 DEI links with one DEI enabled and one DEI disabled and runtime switch data flow using selectLink. This is what is done in multich_hd_sdi_dvr.c usecase and should be used as reference if you want similar feature.

Can you share this changed to me?
Thanks!
Jacson
Hi,
I am interested by those changes too. Can you share it privately?
Best regards
The changes are patch are for dvr_rdk framework and not ezSDK. If you already have DVRRDK 4.1 with you contact your TI FAE .We will share the changes thru TI FAE,
