I use M3 swosd to add osd to the YUV stream and then encode for 2 channel H.264 stream and 1 channel JPEG.
The JPEG stream is as follows
If I want to get the OSD without black rectangular box background, only with the strings, How could I do for modifying the osd link?

I have tried it , as you said. The modification in ti_imx_swosd.c is as follows:
createPrm.numChannels = 1;
createPrm.colorKey[0] = 0x0; //Revisit
createPrm.colorKey[1] = 0x0; //Revisit
createPrm.transparencyEnable = TRUE;
But there are some flaws in the JPEG got by the modification:
There are many black dots around the strings.
I want to improve the quality of the OSD, and clear up the black dot, How could I try?
