Hi Margarita,
Thank you for the fast response, I have followed the links but from x-loader or u-boot it is not able to detect the spi flash. Below are the command response.
TI-MIN#sf probe 0:0
Failed to initialize SPI flash at 0:0
Thanks,
Sudheer.
Hi,
What are your switch settings ? Please follow this link for switch settings http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/TI81XX_PSP_UBOOT_User_Guide#EVM_Switch_Settings
TI-MIN#sf probe 0:0 Failed to initialize SPI flash at 0:0 |
Why do you want to do a sf probe in 1st stage bootloader ? Did you try this in SPI boot mode itself ?
Thanks,

Hi Prabhakar,
When I am loading x-loader in to spi flash using CCS utility and reboot, board is able to boot from spi flash but the issue is like if I have to load the 2nd stage boot loader and Linux, the CCS utility will take much time to load. For that reason if x-loader is loaded from CCS utility and other utility is loaded from x-loader command or u-boot commands it will be very fast.
Thanks,
Sudheer.
Hi,
So the output which you posted in your earlier post was from the SPI boot mode itself ?
Why dont you flash everything from the SD boot mode itself ? Refer this link for flashing without CCS http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/TI81XX_PSP_UBOOT_User_Guide#TI814X.2FTI813X
Thanks,
