DM385 512MB contiguous memory map question

Hey Everyone,

I'm currently encountering an issue with kernel crashes and hangs only after sensor initialization. I'm working on a custom DM385 board with an OV2710 sensor. Our software package, the CBB RDK is being built for that sensor and succeeding in initializing as the signals shown through scoping the sensor seem to be valid. There seems to be no consistency as to what/where the kernel panics & hangs occur except after or during sensor initialization, so I'm double checking memory related settings at the moment. Memtests inside show no issues with the memory. Most of our settings are still very similar to our devkit's at the moment, except it had two 256mb chips whereas we only have one 512mb chip. I noticed that our memory map .bld file has the following:

Should I be setting the REG1 start & end addresses to 0x90000000 and 0xA0000000? I tried this but the IPC setup seems to cycle forever trying to connect even after changing my bootarg notifyk.vpssm3_sva=0x9FD00000 (which I think seems proper if I altered my memory map like so, I've been referring to McFW userguide for this). Additionally memory map inside my ddr_defs header is defined like such:
