DM8148 NSF link. How to enable or disable SNF and TNF filters in real time, after creation of NSF link

Hello TI' teams!

Please let me know - is SNF and/or TNF filters from NSF link may be disabled and enabled again in run-time, after cration of NSF object and start of capture? Saw that NSF link from MCFW hasn't required functionality (noise reduction may disabled or enabled on creation stage only), but what about M2M_NSF driver from HDVPSS module supplied by TI? Is this driver has controls for enable and disable SNF or/and TNF in run-time, after creation?

I'm works with DM8148 PG3.0 and latest version of dvr-rdk.

Hi Marat,

Currently DVR-RDK does not support the dynamic enable/disable the TNF/SNF.

ThanX a lot for reply and answer, but what about NSF driver inside of HDVPSS module?

Is the driver into HDVPSS has control for enable/disable SNF/TNF in run-time?

Hi,

It is a memory to memory driver, so you could change the parameters and submit the frames..

"Memory to memory driver" means m2mNsf driver with Vps_nsf...... API's?

Please confirm:

for enable/disable SNF or/and TNF used field bypassMode from Vps_NsfProcessingCfg?
for apply new NSF setting used Vps_nsfControl with IOCTL_VPS_NSF_SET_PROCESSING_CFG?
is this IOCTL_VPS_NSF_SET_PROCESSING_CFG may be called from mcfw/sys-link layer in run-tme, means after creation of use-case?

I saw that Vps_NsfProcessingCfg has a lot of fileds for fine tuning of noise filter efficiency. May I ask send me document describe in details these parameters?
