Hi guys,

well i have a custom dm385 board, I have already tried ipnc rdk3.5 but due to some issue it is not performing as expected(mainly wifi). at the same I have tried dm385cbb but same issue.

Now i have taken ipncrdk3.8 kernel from

git://arago-project.org/git/projects/linux-ipnc-rdk-dm81xx.git

and uboot

git://arago-project.org/git/projects/u-boot-ipnc-rdk-dm81xx.git

i have cross compiler toolchain, i can build and customize but i need to know about the filesystem. where can i get. which version i need to use. if i'm able boot and apply wifi patches it worked then my company will officially ask for total ipnc rdk3.8 from TI.

one last thing can we ipncrdk3.5 ti_tools with 3.8?.

can i get a proper procedure to build wifi with respect RDK3.8 kernel if you have any new link which can be helpful to me. because i have tried above wifi procedure with RDK3.5d but it is unsuccesfull. all modules are loading but i'm not getting wlan0 interface.

i'm using Jorgin WG7833-B0 wifi chipset.

Hi,

Check the below command to confirm whether you are getting WLAN0 interface
ifconfig -a

If its available in the list, you need to up it through the below command. Change command according to the interface.
ifconfig WLAN0 up

if its not available in the list, make sure that wifi is clean build.

Issue may be in source. if it is there then please post the same query in WIFI forum (WiLink™ WiFi + Bluetooth Forum.

Hi Ganesh,

Check these below file if exist in ur filesys::
./target/filesys/opt/ipnc/wlan_AP_demo.sh
./target/filesys/etc/hostapd.conf
./target/filesys/etc/udhcpd.conf
Plz cross verify the ip assigned to wlan0 and run the wlan script.
