Hi All

I am using aptina AR0331 sensor for DM8127 for camera

I am getting HSYNC and VSYNC on the proccessor side and try to capture data via parallel interface of ISS CAM Port to SDRAM

The ISS supports three simultaneous pixel flows (Stallcontroller, CSI2 A, and parallel interface [CPI]), but only one of them at a time can use the image processing hardware(ISP); the others can go directly to memory

I am configuring CBUFF interface of ISS to capture data. However i am not getting any captured data in SDRAM

Below are my configuration for CBUFF.

>Virtual address space upper threshold:0x84000000

>Virtual address space upper threshold:0x8FFFFFFF

>Physical address:0x80000000

>Window size upper threshold:1080

>Window size upper threshold:0x0000

Can anyone help me in this regard?

Hi Akhil,

IPNC RDK has support for AR0331 sensor, it uses camera link captures frames into SDRAM.

What hardware are you using? Is it a custom hardware?

I am developing bare metal code for DM388 to validate camera interface ,hence i am not using IPNC RDK.

I am configuring ISS Cam port in gel file to capture data in SDRAM.

Could you please let me know the configuration of ISS Cam port to capture data for DM388?

Hi Akhil,

If you are developing it from scratch, it will require a lot of register configurations. You can look into the ISS configuration for reference.

Well its not so difficult.
You need take care/configure below modules,

1, Pinmux to make ISS Pins are enabled.
2, IPIPEIF
3, Few registers in the ISIF.

In addition, you need to make sure ISS is powered on.
This should be good enough to capture data over ISS interfaces.
