DM385: IPNC 3.5 color issue

Hi,

It could be because wrong of Color Correction Matrix (CCM) or Auto White Balance (AWB). Since you already have DCC tool, you can quickly verify this by disabling AWB and setting the WB gains to 1. Do a similar experiment with CCM by disabling DCC and setting the matrix to unity.

I can't find any color correction matrix(CCM). Can you specify the path?

Which sensor you are using?
The sensor data sheet provides the Color Correction Matrix (CCM) which should be used to configure the RGB2RGB modules (there are 2 modules) of the ISP.
You can use the DCC tool to play around with these matrices.
Have you tuned the WB for the sensor you are using?

I was migrate 3DLut sample code from 3.8 ipnc rdk to 3.5 ipnc rdk.

If we use  3DLut sample code there is no difference in output image...

why tIspParamCfg.ptIssConfig->pt3Dcc->enable = 0;  by default enable=0 ???

If we enable  =1 also no difference in output image...

The image looks like you forgot to attach an IR cut filter on the image sensor, or the signal for the IR cut filter day/night position is not correct.

I had faced a similar issue with DM 385 with MN34041 sensor. It got resolved after enabling H3A interrupt in ISP pipeline. Can you please check if H3A is enabled in your end?

Hi Raj,

I am no longer working on DM38x, so I don't have the code base to give you the exact file path. But, I can give you a hint. Use grep command to search for VD0 interrupt in your rdk code. This is the interrupt generated for every frame in ISP. You should have similar interrupt registered for enabling H3A also.

For H3A i dnot know how to register VD0?

Hi Raj,
VD0 and H3A are separate interrupts. Just see if H3A is present. If not, refer how VD0 is registered and configure H3A on similar lines.
