Hello,

I have dm814x evm & i want to get staretd programming am387x arm cortex A8 processor processor on that using TI-RTOS SYS BIOS. Can anyone share the link from where i can download TI -RTOS SDK for the all the chips present on dm814x evm.

Hi Brijender,

SYS/BIOS RTOS is running on DSP C674x of the DM814x device, while AM387x device do not have DSP C674x.

For Cortex-A8 processor, we have HLOS only (Linux, Windows, Android). We do not have SYS/BIOS RTOS running on Cortex-A8.

Brijender,

SYS/BIOS RTOS is the previous version of TI-RTOS. We have the below timeline:

DSP/BIOS -> SYS/BIOS -> TI-RTOS

The DM814x DSP SYS/BIOS RTOS comes as a component with the latest EZSDK 5.05.02.00:

You can also download it separately from EZSDK (stand alone) from the below location:

software-dl.ti.com/.../index.html

I have seen(from below mentioned link) TI-RTOS for the am335x processor which is a arm cortex A8 processor, so is it not possible to use the same for AM3874 which is there in DM814x board.

No, PROCESSOR-SDK-RTOS-AM335X can NOT be used for AM387x device.

PROCESSOR-SDK-RTOS-AM335X is used for AM335x and AMIC11x device.
