Abhishek, The diff between the 2 is the AM3871 does not have the HDVPSS display subsystem where as the AM3872 has. So, if you don't need HDVPSS, the AM3871 is closest to AM3872 you can get. BR, Viet

Hi Steve, I wrote the article, so I can answer this. > I'm currently routing a DM814x PCB using 0402 decoupling caps, and am checking that the above advice is valid for the DM814x devices. Absolutely. In fact, it was written for the DM814x, but also applies to all our TI processors...

Hi, Based on some other postings in the forums, I think we can just pull up the EMU0 and 1 pins if we are not planning on using them to debug. However, we are not convinced if we need them or not. I was reading the TI wiki (link and snippet below) on the XDS100-class emulator function, and it seems...

Hi, I am sending ether packets larger than 1500 to 814x (PG2.0, REV C, DDR3), according to the document, the largest packet cpsw can receive is 2047 bytes because there are only 11 bits for pktlen in rx descriptor. Hi, We are testing a LCD module on DM814x EVM. the LCD requires negative HS and VS signals. but DM814x EVM provides positive HS and VS signal once we modified timing follow VPSS Video Driver User Guide. So my question is, is there anyway to modify polarity of HS and VS signal with sysfs?

Hello, We want to be able to test the external board characteristics of the PCIe traces as well as the daughtercard design (FPGA portion). The TRM (sprugz8a.pdf) lists on page 2121 that the PHY supports a loopback in RC Mode. Is this for the internal software testing within the device, or can we use...

I have DM8148 EVM made by MISTRAL and also use EZSDK(ver. 5_03_01_15). In order to support input for composite camera (NTSC/PAL) at EVM, I used V4L2 interface. But EZSDK didn't have V4L2 capturing ability yet, so that I modified source to support composite camera input at the EVM, and then...
