TMS320C6A8168 power consumption @ 1.5GHz

Hallo,

I need power consumption table of TMS320C6A816 running both cores @ 1.5GHz

In datasheet is reported only for ARM @1.2 GHz and DSP @ 1.0 GHz, and the same for the power consumption spreadsheet.

Another question. I cannot find ordering code for TMS320C6A8168 running both cores @ 1.5GHz, where can I find it?

thanks

    Hello,

The current orderable devices run up to 1.2-GHz ARM and 1.0-GHz DSP.  The 1.5GHz ARM devices are expected to be made available in 1Q12.

    Regards,
    Marc

Why do you specify "1.5GHz ARM devices"? I hope DSP also runs @ 1.5 GHz as described in datasheet and web site.

What about power consumption of the 1.5 GHz ARM+DSP?

    thanks

    Hello,

Sorry about any confusion.  The initial devices are specified to run at speeds of 1.0GHz and 1.2GHz.  We will provide 1.5GHz power data when the devices become available in 1Q12.

    Regards,
    Marc

Thank you but I need clear answers
    therefore, in Q1 2012
will be available a device, featuring:
ARM core running @ 1.5 GHz, yes or no?
    DSP
core running @ 1.5 GHz, yes or no?

I'm sorry to be so pedantic,

    thanks

    Hello,

We are seeing 1.5 GHz operation with the ARM today, but we are still testing the 1.5 GHz DSP capable devices.  In 1Q12, we will have the 1.5GHz ARM.  The precise timetable for the 1.5GHz DSP is unclear as it needs to pass through testing first, but preliminary indications are good.

    Regards,
    Marc

Any new about C6A8168 running @1.5GHz both ARM and DSP cores?

Do you already release the 1.5GHz ARM version?

    regards,

    Max

In the spreadsheet I noticed the lack of TMS32C6A8168BCYGA5, ie device speed range 5 and -40 +105 temperature range

This means that TMS32C6A8168BCYGA5 will not be released?

What about device with DSP also running 1.5GHz. Any news? Do you have completed tests on silicon? Test results are good?

    thanks
