Release date of new EZSDK

Someone from TI on here said that the release date for the new EZSDK would be the end of April (http://e2e.ti.com/support/dsp/davinci_digital_media_processors/f/717/p/182492/659847.aspx#659847).

As it is now May, does anyone know when the new EZSDK will be released? I ask because we are about to pick and choose an EZSDK release to stick with "forever" and it would be a shame to latch on to the old version if a new one were about to be released.

Thanks,

Ralph

It seems to be there, the linking pages just has the wrong version on it.

    http://software-dl.ti.com/dsps/dsps_public_sw/ezsdk/latest/index_FDS.html

If you go here http://www.ti.com/tool/linuxezsdk-davinci and click on get software it seems to take you to the new one. 5.4

P.S. Many of the Wikis appear to be updated as well.

    Thanks Tony.

Am I going mad or did that magically appear in the last few hours? I checked this morning and I could have sworn it said 5.03.01.15!!!

If you look at the one page (http://www.ti.com/tool/linuxezsdk-davinci) , IT DOES say 5.3 but if you click on "Get Software" it it takes you to 5.4
Don't ask what possessed me to actually try a link that was clearly marked incorrectly.

    Hi Tony,

Many thanks. I think you've hit the nail on the head regarding why I thought the EZSDK had not been updated until your provided the link. This has helped me a great deal!

Be careful, as far as DSP code is concerned, ezsdk 5.04.00.11 apparently has some issues, see my post here:

    http://e2e.ti.com/support/embedded/linux/f/354/p/185825/671285.aspx#671285

To get my code to build I had to use xdc and bios from 5.03.01.15.
