DM8168 CLKIN32 oscillator rise/fall times

For the CLKIN32 pin, the datasheet gives a spec of 7ns rise/fall time.  See SPRS614B, Section 7.3.3 table 7-12, item #4.

This seems very tight.  Most parts I see are typically shown as 200ns rise/fall.  According to the BOM the part selected for the DM8168 EVM (ECS-327SMO) is 200ns.  http://www.ecsxtal.com/store/pdf/ecs-327smo.pdf

Is the rise/fall time spec correct?  Can you suggest a part that meets this spec?

    Andrew,

The datasheet for the DM8168 specifies that the maximum transition time should not exceed 7 ns, but the maximum transition time of 200ns is much slower than the specification on the DM8168 datasheet.

    Regards,
    Marc
