As far as I can understand from DM8168 datasheet, the PCIexpress device is accessible only from Cortex A8 Subsystem, and not from DSP C674x Subsystem, due to hardware constraints. Isn't it?
Thank you.
Best regards.

Thank you. If it is accessible from DSP, where could I find a PCI driver running on DSP? It does not seem to be implemented in SYS/BIOS.
Regards
Francesco,
Not is not available on the M3 side package. However there are SYSBIOS PCI drivers available on some other BIOS SDK's for other SoC platforms. You'll have to port it.
What exactly are you trying with PCI? I believe most of the things you can manage with PCI easily by sharing the buffers with A8 instead of really writing the PCI driver.
And so, as far as I can understand, the easiest way to work with PCI is to use it on A8 side and to share buffers with DSP; more difficult, but possible, is to port a PCI driver in order to use it directly on DSP side.
Thank you.
