encode fps

Hi, we use DM8168, TVP5158, RDK4.0.

The data flow is:

There has a strange problem.

The setting of DEI_0 and DEI_1 is same just the ID is not, one is SYSTEM_LINK_ID_DEI_HQ_0 and the other is SYSTEM_LINK_ID_DEI_HQ_1.

I set the channel number for DEI_0 is 0, 1, 2, 3, and the another dup output is 4,5,6,7, just channel 0 duplicate to channel4.

I static the procced frames in VcapVenc_bitsWriteMain() for every 30s.

If the input for channel 0 is PAL, the encoded frames are only 625, but the channel 4 is 750.

If the input for channel 0 is NTSL, the encoded frames are 750, but the channel 4 is 900.

What's the problem? 

  • Share logs of Vsys_printDetailedStatistics collected 3 times at 10 second interval

  • The time interval may be not 10 second.

    As you can see your application is setting different encode params for ch0 and ch4.

    For channel 0 you have set inputFrameRate:targetFrameRate ratio such that you are skipping 30 frames for every 50 frames received.

    Set the input frameRate for channel 0 encode channel correctly to 50 fps.

  • Invoke Venc_setDynamicParam and Venc_setInputFrameRate API for all encLink channels after encLink is created  and correctly set the correct input and targetFrameRate.

  • I set the FPS for Every channel as following:
