I am using AM3894 in my design and implemented AVS feature using GPIO feature. Instead of the implementation in Spectrum DM8168 EVM, I used a TI VID IC, LM10010 which also uses the same GPIO pins to adjust AVS voltage. I would like to know at what point the AVS driver starts operating ? Is it when kernel loads or a little later ? In datasheet Rev F, SRinit for the commercial grade part was changed to 1.1V and SRnom to 0.85-1.1V. Until what point of the boot up, should SRinit be used and at what point does AVS driver start varying the voltage ? The AVS driver user guide provides very high level information. Is there any document which explains AVS implementation in full detail including how to test and verify based on CPU loading ?
