2   DDR is dual data rate, which means the actual performance is 2x the clock frequency.   Which means when we say DDR-1600, it means the clock rate is 800MHz.

I mean that when I configure DDR clock frequency with 796MHz in uboot  but the maximum DDR frequency on our  board  is DDR-1333. Is it ok?

are you asking why the DDR device you bought is w/ the capability of running @1333MHz but actually Davinci runs at lower speed ?    It is OK .

Sorry for my english.

I means that the capability of our DDR device running @1333MHz but actually Davinci runs at HIGHER speed such as 796MHz(DDR device should run @1600MHz).

is it ok? It seems ok on our board.
